Crawfish Etoufee

Serves 4-6

INGREDIENTS

INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1Ib crawfish tails

  • 1 medium onion

  • 1/2 green bell pepper

  • 1/2 celery stalk

  • 1 bunch of green onions

  • 1/2 stick unsalted butter

  • 1 tbs flour

  • 1.5 cups seafood or chicken broth

  • Creole seasoning (to taste)

  • 1/2 teaspoon seafood seasoning

  • In a medium skillet, saute the onion, bell pepper, celery, and garlic on medium heat until tender. Add the flour to the vegetable mixture and cook for 3-4 minutes.

  • Add the crawfish tails, broth and seasonings then cook for approximately 15 minutes.

  • Lastly, add green onion and cook for another 3-5 minutes.

  • Serve over hot steamy rice.
